10 Amazing “Escuelas de Pascua” (Easter Schools) in Valencia in 2019
School Easter holidays sometimes do not coincide with the working holidays of parents, so children need to find a safe place in the company of highly experienced professionals and their peers of the same age, which at the same time offers a complete learning program of activities that allows them enjoy the holiday to the fullest. In Valencia, there are multiple alternatives for your children to stay active during the Easter holidays. 1. ACR Terramelar
ACR Terramelar announces its Easter School 2019 for the 18th, 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th of April. The project in partnership with Eureka is based on programs and settings adapted to different ages, preferences and needs, so that children can enjoy and have fun in their choice of workshops, English classes, activities, games, handicrafts, etc. Children are the protagonists of all the activities and will engage in their own personal progress! In addition, to provide maximum flexibility, the school offer three alternatives with different schedules for all needs, as well as a dining service. Registration must be delivered to the offices of ACR Terramelar or scanned and sent with all relevant data filled in by email to firstname.lastname@example.org before April 8th. This is undoubtedly a complete proposal with a big emphasis on fun.
2. Academia Imaginarte
Imaginarte presents its Easter School 2019 on April 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th. This is a different kind of school, very diverse and original. It is specially designed for children from 6 to 10 years old. Among the different activities, you will find painting, drawing, sculpture, handicrafts, dance, art therapy, creative writing, creative thinking, communicative games, mandalas with the body, and much more! Classes will be Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a discount for those who pay in advance and for second siblings. Hurry up, there are only a few places!
3. Bioparc, Easter School 2019
Bioparc offers the perfect opportunity for the little ones of the house to fulfil one of their most desired dreams: to become “Animal Caretaker’s Assistant” of Bioparc Valencia for a few days during the course, “Animal Expert,” aimed at small explorers. The children, accompanied by the educators and caretakers of the park, will discover the curiosities of their favorite animals and will collaborate in all animal care tasks. They will support the experts in the preparation of the enclosures and the animals’ diets, and participate in routes of environmental enrichment, while enjoying the study of the animal behavior and much more! By carrying out these activities, children will discover the main objective of Bioparc: “the conservation of ecosystems and the animals that are part of them.” The plan is aimed at children from 5 to 12 years old and will be available from the 23rd to the 26th of April from 09:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can choose one or all the courses: elephant expert course, vulture expert course, hyena expert course and lemur expert course. 4. Botanical Garden in Valencia
The Botanical Garden of Valencia brings its new agenda of Easter workshops in April. This time they’re inviting the little ones to actually touch ground! For four days, they will enjoy the plants in their magnificent garden; they will also become real gardeners and learn how to grow plants. Children will learn about substratum and soil and their importance in keeping seedlings healthy. Then they will practice two ways to make things grow, from seeds or cuttings. And finally, they will learn about bugs, how to distinguish those that usually eat plants and how they can combat them with organic products. The course will be available from the 23rd to the 26th of April 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for children from 3 (already in school) to 13 years old. There will be a nursery service available from 8.30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and a picnic from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
5. Robótica para niños
Robótica para niños (Robotics for Children) already has its usual Easter School ready with many new activities for the kids to spend some super fun days, while accompanied by the best teachers. The activities that will take place are robotics, mechanics, video game programming and Minecraft. Groups are small (a maximum of 12 students per class) and divided by age for 6, 7 and 8 year olds and one from 9 years and up. As usual, they offer many options of timetables and centers, so you can choose what best suits your child. 6. Oceanografic, Shark Camp
From the 23rd to the 26th of April 2019, Oceanografic brings you the Shark Camp! This fun aquarium becomes a real shark camp where children learn about biology, threats and the care of these amazing animals. Enter the world of sharks and meet them up close. The Oceanografic has prepared a large number of daily tests and challenges to save endangered sharks. In addition, they will perform a night gymkhana in which the kids will sleep next to the sharks in the biggest tunnel in Europe! If you want your child to become an authentic shark protector, register him or her in this camp on Tuesday, the 23rd and Wednesday, the 24th of April from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Thursday, the 25th with the Shark Sleep activity from 9:00 a.m., leaving on Friday, the 26th at 3:00 p.m. This activity is aimed at children from the 3º grade of Infant Education to 6º grade of Primary Education. 7. L’Horta a Cavall
The equestrian center, L’Horta a Cavall, brings you their Easter school 2019 in which they will offer an intensive riding course for children between 6 and 14 years of age. Among the activities you will find are beginner and advanced riding classes, initiation to horse handling and care, horseback riding in the countryside, equestrian turning, and drawing and handicraft workshops related to the world of horses. 8. Guardianes del patrimonio (Heritage Guardians)
From the 22nd to the 25th of April, from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., children between the ages of 5 and 12 can become true Guardians of Heritage. The little ones will have the opportunity to discover, investigate and decipher the enigmas of our past. The aim of this activity is to learn to value and protect Valencia’s heritage, visiting some of the city’s main museums every day, and at the end of the week the participants will obtain the title of “authentic heritage guardian”. The program is as follows: the 22nd April the Museum of Natural Sciences, the 23rd April Almoina, the 24th of April Benlliure House Museum, and the 25th of April the Museum of History of Valencia. In general, the children will learn to recognize different periods and characteristic elements of the city through all their senses.
9. Spring School in Beniclamet
The Benimaclet Municipal Sports Center in Valencia is the location chosen for this Spring School, which is also endorsed by the Valencia City Council. The program offers both indoor and outdoor activities including basketball, fencing, values, crafts, logic games, and other sports. The groups will be divided between children under 9 years old and from 9 years old (born between 2005 and 2013). You have the possibility of including lunch in a restaurant located just 20 meters from the sports center, where children can eat in the company of their monitors. Prepare sports clothes, a cap, sneakers and water and let your child enjoy this fun sport camp.
10. Easter School in Parque Adai
