Playgrounds in Valencia: Parque Nuevo Rafelbuñol
One of the biggest playgrounds in Valencia is without doubt Parque Nuevo Rafelbuñol.
It’s an estimated 30 minutes drive from the Valencia city centre but it is well worth it.
In total it contains 5 different playgrounds, two basketball/football fields, a half pipe and other installations for skateboards and scooters, an outdoor gym for adults as well as a huge grass area where you can rest, have a picknick or just a catch up with other parents. The parquet is around 43.000 m2 huge; it hardly gets crowded.
The five playgrounds are all different, one bigger than the other. Your kids can climb, slide, jump or just drive around in bikes and scooters.
You can also find a restaurant within the park that opens from Monday to Friday from 16:30pm until 18:30pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am until 19:00pm. It offers drinks as well as tapas, bocadillos and paellas.
My son always loves to run, cycle and climb in this huge playground in Rafelbuñol. And of course, sliding down the half pipe is the best part of it. If you are in the Rafelbuñol area or you fancy a little drive outside of the city, you should definitely visit the fantastic Parque Nuevo Rafelbuñol.
