Things to do with kids on Easter 2019 in Valencia

1. Dulce de leche, show for kids

Dulce de leche is a show for children from 0 to 3 that creates a wonderful sensory world. The show tells a story about a stork whose nest is blown away by the wind. The stork is waiting for its chick when he meets a mother who cooks dulce de leche for her baby and invites him into her home. With songs, dances, images and poems, the protagonists envelop us in a sensory world for the little ones. Dulce de leche is a show offered by the Escena Miriñaque Company to enjoy with all five senses. It will take place in Sala L’Horta on Sunday 14 April. 2. Easter in Actio

Are you one of those who likes going to the countryside? In the ACTIO Albergue, there is a program of activities for the family during the Easter holidays in which you will find excursions, workshops, games and, above all, a lot of fun in contact with the nature. From 18 to 22 April, the ACTIO rural tourism accommodation offers Easter holidays for children in the middle of nature. Night excursions to caves, zip lines, archery, games and workshops are some of the activities prepared. 3. Easter in Gran Turia Shopping Center

The Gran Turia Shopping Centre celebrates spring with a new and varied program of children’s activities on all  Fridays and Saturdays in April. Theater, a clown show, dancing and an Easter gymkhana are some of the activities offered by the Valencian Shopping Centre. All the free activities are celebrated in the Central Square of Gran Turia from 18:30h to 19:30h.

4. Semana Santa “Marinera”

Easter in Valencia is a very special time with the celebration of Semana Santa Marinera (Marine Holy Week) which takes place in the neighborhoods of El Grau, El Canyamelar and El Cabanyal from 11th  to 21st April. 6. Easter School at Playtown Somnis

Playtown Somnis, one of the children’s favorite leisure spots in Valencia, is preparing very interesting activities for children and adults for the Easter holidays 2019. On weekends from 18th to 22nd and on 25th, 27th, 28th and 29th April, Playtown Somnis will wait for you to celebrate Easter with two themes. This is the perfect place for the little ones to have a great time on their holidays with animations and Easter activities. The activities are designed for children between the ages of 3 and 12 during these incredible days.

7. Holi Life Valencia 2019

The race of the colors celebrates its seventh edition in Valencia, closing the Easter holidays on Saturday 27th April. Holi Life is a race inspired by the Holi, the traditional festival of colors held in India based on happiness and joy. People can make the journey either by running, walking or dancing. The speed and distance traveled by the attendees is not important since the focus is on joy and color. The Holi Life Valencia race consists of a 5k where participants are sprayed with different colored powders at each kilometer. Therefore, the only rules that exist are going dressed in white and finishing full of color. This is an activity for the whole family and is classified by categories, including one for children. 8. Holy Week and Easter Campus in la Escola Municipal de Vela

Escola Vela has organised a great Easter agenda for children from 6 years with multi-nautical activities. The Sailing School offers activities to enjoy the sea in collective or individual boats, where your kid will learn the spirit of sailing in a team while getting into and perfecting their navigation techniques. The event will take place from 18th to 21st April and from 23rd to 26th April. Discounts are available for large families. The groups are divided into children from 6 to 8 years old, children from 9 to 11 years old and children over 12 years old.

9. Easter workshop 2019 in Hard Rock Café

This year, Hard Rock Cafe Valencia aims to start Easter off by teaching English to the youngest members of the household in a bilingual workshop, but without forgetting the fun! Without a doubt, this is an opportunity not to be missed, as the workshop will include kite creation and Easter eggs for children to decorate and play with while they learn.
